How is it that I’ve had a Disneyland Annual Passport since 2009 and this is the first year I’ve heard of Dapper Day? Disney Parks are known to have unofficial themed days, like Gay Days and Star Wars Day. These days are pretty self-explanatory, so Dapper Day specifically is a day to go to Disney Parks dressed…DAPPER. Looking through some pictures, most people pick the day to wear old fashioned outfits, but the official Dapper Day site says it’s for “all sophisticated fashions, from vintage-inspired to contemporary chic.”
Today is the last day for the Spring 2014 weekend at Disneyland, so it appears I missed out this year. But it looks like September 12 is the day for the Fall event at Disneyland, and you can check out the info for upcoming events at the other Disney Parks here. Until then, I’ll be keeping up with all the pictures coming in on the Dapper Day Intagme page. Must be a fun day to walk around with all these amazing outfits being worn!
